Who this logo design service is for
This page is about one job: designing a logo, or tidying up the one you have. It suits Australian sole traders, trades, cafes, consultants, allied health practices, online shops and new ventures that need a clean, usable mark without paying for a full agency branding project.
If you are launching a business, rebranding after a change of name, or just tired of a logo someone made in a free app five years ago, this is a sensible place to start. If you need a full brand strategy, tone of voice and a wider visual system, our branding and identity design page covers that bigger piece of work.
What is included
We keep the packages small and clear so you know what you are paying for before we start.
Logo Starter, from US$49
- One logo concept developed from your brief
- Basic colour direction
- Final files in PNG and JPG
- One round of revisions
Brand Identity Kit, from US$99
- Logo refinement
- A colour palette with codes you can give to a printer or web developer
- A font pairing for headings and body text
- A basic brand guide showing how to use the logo
Business Design Pack, from US$159
- Business card design
- Letterhead
- Email signature
- A social media template
All three are shown in US dollars and invoiced in AUD, so the amount you pay is in your own currency. You can see them alongside our other packages on the pricing page.
How the remote process works
We are a small, founder-led studio in Ludhiana, Punjab, working with Australian businesses over video calls, email and WhatsApp. There is no office for you to visit, so we make the process simple and written down.
- Brief. You fill in a short questionnaire or we talk for 20 to 30 minutes on a video call. We ask what you do, who your customers are, where the logo will be used and any logos you like or dislike.
- Quote and invoice. We confirm the package and send an invoice in AUD. Work starts once it is accepted.
- First concept. We send the concept as a PDF showing the logo on a light background, a dark background, a business card and a small social profile size, so you can judge it at real sizes.
- Feedback. You reply by email or WhatsApp. Specific notes work best, for example the icon feels too busy at small sizes, or the green is too bright.
- Revision. We make the agreed changes within your revision round.
- Final files. We send the files in an organised folder, named so you can find the right version later.
Because of the time difference, you will often send feedback in your afternoon and have a reply waiting the next morning. For a straightforward logo, most of the back and forth happens within a week or two, depending on how quickly feedback comes in.
What makes a logo work for a small business
A good small business logo is mostly about being readable and practical. We design with these checks in mind:
- It is still clear as a tiny square on Google Maps, Facebook or a browser tab.
- It works in one colour, for embroidery, stamps or a vinyl cut sticker.
- The name can be read quickly by someone driving past your ute or shopfront.
- It does not rely on a trend that will look dated in two years.
- It sits comfortably next to your website and social posts.
We will also tell you if your name is hard to set as a logo, for example a very long business name, and suggest a stacked version or a short mark to sit alongside it.
What we do not do
Being clear about limits saves both of us time:
- We do not provide trade mark searches, registration or legal advice. Check IP Australia and speak to an attorney if needed.
- We do not supply unlimited concepts or unlimited revisions. Each package states what is included, and extra rounds are quoted before we do them.
- We do not print anything. We prepare files for your printer, signwriter or embroiderer.
- We do not copy another business's logo, even if asked to make something similar. We are happy to use references for style and feel.
- We do not use AI image generators to produce your final logo. Concepts are drawn and built as proper vector artwork.
When this service is the wrong choice
A cheap logo package is not right for everyone. Consider a different route if:
- You are a larger company that needs research, stakeholder workshops and a full brand system. That needs a bigger budget and a longer project than these packages allow.
- You need the logo locked in within a day or two for a print deadline. We would rather not rush a mark you will live with for years.
- You already have a logo people know and only need a website. In that case, start with website design and development and we will work with your existing brand.
- You mainly need help with campaigns or ads rather than a mark. Our advertising and marketing campaigns page is a better starting point.
What to do after your logo is finished
Once you have a logo, the next jobs are usually business cards, an email signature and a website that uses the same colours and fonts. The Business Design Pack covers the stationery side. For the website, see our WordPress web design and e-commerce website design pages. If you would like help with written content and creative direction, creative consulting and content covers that.
We work with businesses right across Australia, including clients searching for help from Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide. Everything is done remotely, so location does not change the process or the price.
Getting started
Send us your business name, what you do, and a line or two about the feel you are after. If you have a current logo, attach it. We will reply with questions or a quote. You can reach us through the contact page.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a logo cost?
Logo Starter is from US$49 and includes one logo concept, basic colour direction, PNG and JPG files and one revision round. Brand Identity Kit is from US$99 and adds refinement, a colour palette, a font pairing and a basic brand guide. Both are invoiced in AUD.
Do I own the logo once it is finished?
Yes. Once the invoice is paid, the final logo files are yours to use on your website, signage, uniforms, packaging and anywhere else you need them.
Can you register my logo as a trade mark?
No. We are designers, not lawyers. We recommend you search IP Australia before you commit to a name or mark, and speak to a trade mark attorney if protection matters to your business.
How many concepts will I see?
Logo Starter includes one concept, developed from your brief. If you want to compare several directions, tell us at the start and we will quote that separately before any work begins.
Do you need to meet me in person?
No. We work remotely from Ludhiana, India, using video calls, email and WhatsApp. Most clients find a 20 to 30 minute call plus a written brief is enough to get started.
