Who this redesign service is for
This service is for Australian businesses that already have a website and know it is holding them back. Maybe it was built years ago, does not work well on phones, is slow, or uses a page builder nobody on your team can edit. Maybe it looks fine but never seems to produce enquiries.
A redesign is different from starting from scratch. You already have a domain, content, some search visibility and possibly customers who know the site. The job is to keep the value in those things while fixing the problems. If you have no site at all, our website design and development page is the right place to start.
If you are still deciding whether a redesign is worth it, our blog post on website redesign in Australia covers the signs and questions to ask. This page explains how we run the service itself.
What is included
Every redesign starts with a review of your current site. From there, most projects fit one of these tiers:
Business Website, from A$2,199
- Up to 7 pages
- Responsive design for phones, tablets and desktop
- Contact form
- 2 rounds of revisions
CMS Website, from A$2,999
- For sites where you need to update content yourself regularly, such as news, projects, team members or listings
- Editing set up so your staff can make changes without breaking the layout
If your current site is an online shop, the redesign would fall under E-Commerce from A$4,999. Bigger sites with many pages, integrations or unusual features are quoted after reviewing your current site. All tiers are listed on our pricing page.
How a remote redesign works
We are a small, founder-led studio in Ludhiana, Punjab, working with Australian businesses over video calls, email and WhatsApp. Redesigns involve more moving parts than a new site, so we follow a set order.
- Site review. We go through your current site page by page, noting what works, what is broken, what is slow and which pages people find through Google.
- Call and recommendations. We talk through the findings on a video call and send a written summary with what we suggest keeping, rewriting, merging or removing.
- Quote and plan. You receive a quote in AUD and a page list for the new site, including which old URLs redirect where.
- Content. We move existing content across, tidy it up and flag any gaps for you to fill.
- Design and build. We build the new site on a private staging link so your current site stays live.
- Review rounds. You check it on your own phone and computer and send feedback.
- Launch. We switch the new site live, set up redirects, check forms, and resubmit the sitemap to Google Search Console.
- After launch. We check for broken links and errors in the weeks after launch and fix anything that comes up.
What we look at in the review
- Which pages bring in traffic and enquiries, so we do not remove or rename them carelessly.
- How the site performs on a mid-range phone on mobile data.
- Whether visitors can quickly tell what you do, where you work and how to contact you.
- Who controls the domain, hosting and logins. Many redesigns stall because nobody has the password.
- Plugins, themes or builders that are outdated, unsupported or slowing the site down.
What we do not do
- We do not guarantee rankings, traffic or enquiry numbers after a redesign.
- We do not copy another business's website design or content.
- We do not keep broken or insecure plugins just to avoid change. If something needs replacing, we will tell you.
- We do not provide in-person workshops or on-site visits. Everything is done remotely.
- We do not take ownership of your domain or hosting. They stay in your name.
When a redesign is the wrong choice
- Your site is reasonably modern and the only issue is that people cannot find it. You may need SEO services rather than a new design.
- You only need one strong page for an ad campaign. A landing page is quicker and cheaper.
- The real problem is your brand. If the logo and colours need replacing, sort them first through logo design or branding and identity design, then redesign the site around them.
- You are about to change your business name, services or structure. Wait until that settles, or you will pay to redesign twice.
Platforms we redesign on
Most small business redesigns we do are on WordPress, because it is widely supported and easy to hand over. Our WordPress web design page explains that approach. For online stores, see e-commerce website design.
We redesign sites for businesses in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth, Adelaide and regional Australia.
Protecting what already works
The biggest risk in a redesign is losing things that were quietly working. A page that brings in a steady trickle of Google traffic can disappear if its address changes without a redirect, or if its content is cut down to fit a new layout.
Before we change anything, we make a list of your existing pages and note which ones get visits or enquiries. Those pages keep their address where possible. When a page has to move or merge, we set up a 301 redirect from the old address to the new one, so visitors and search engines follow it across.
We also carry over page titles, meta descriptions and useful content, then improve them rather than starting blank. Forms, phone links, Google Analytics and any tracking you rely on are tested on the staging site before launch, and again once the new site is live.
A redesign is also a good moment to remove pages that no longer serve a purpose, such as old promotions, duplicate service pages or thin location pages. Fewer, clearer pages are usually easier for both visitors and search engines.

Frequently asked questions
How much does a website redesign cost?
Most redesigns fall under our Business Website tier from A$2,199 (up to 7 pages, 2 revisions) or CMS Website from A$2,999. Larger or more complex sites are quoted after we review your current site.
Will I lose my Google rankings?
We plan redesigns to protect them: keeping existing URLs where possible, setting up 301 redirects where they change, and carrying over titles and content that already rank. No one can guarantee rankings, but careful planning avoids the common losses.
Can you redesign a site built by someone else?
Yes. We will need access to the domain, hosting and the current site so we can review it and move content across.
Do I have to change platforms?
Not always. If your site is on WordPress and in reasonable shape, we may redesign within it. If the platform is the problem, we will explain why and suggest a better option.
How long does a redesign take?
It depends on the number of pages and how quickly content and feedback come through. We give you an estimated timeline with the quote after reviewing your site.
